This is what I, Sharon Skaggs, saw in the Spirit.
I saw a prayer room at River City Church. I saw its purpose and what the room should contain. I saw a room with chairs, an altar, and a prayer basket to hold prayer requests. A scripture was on the basket which read, "Let your requests be made known to God" (Philippians 4:6). I saw a board on the wall with pictures of the people for whom we are praying, especially people with strongholds. I saw a board on the wall for praise reports for our answered prayers. Then, I saw something with which to play music.
The purpose for this room was to give everyone at River City Church an opportunity to become prayer warriors. We are to invite the community, friends, and relatives to come and pray with the praying believers from River City Church. We are also to be there to pray for those who want to come, those who need prayer. We are not only to pray for people but for all needs.
The goal of the vision is to have prayer five days a week, eight hours a day with two people each hour, the latest hour being 7 p.m. Zechariah 4:10 reads, "We do not despise the day of small beginnings."
Habakkuk 2:2-3 declares, “Write the vision, and make it plain upon the tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but the end, it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for it; because it shall surely come. It will not tarry.”
